With over 40 years of cross country ski experience we offer over 70 km of trails within the 22,000 acres of protected lands of the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area, of the Green Mountain National Forest.

2011-2012 Ski Season Update!

Due to challenges related to Tropical Storm Irene and the economy there will be a few changes this year in the Ski Center. (Some of the trails have been closed but the supervisor's office of the Green Mountain National Forest.) For this winter, trails behind the Inn will be groomed for weekend skiing. In addition, some trails will be kept clear for back country skiing and snowshoe adventures. (We will soon post a map of what will be open and groomed, what will be open and left for backcountry skiing and what will be closed.)  View Trail Map. Trails highlighted with color are trails that will be groomed in some way.

"TOUR IT IF YOU CAN; EAT COOKIES IF YOU CAN'T"

The ski center will be staffed on weekends and holidays (soup will be available). Mid week the ski center will be open on the, honor system.

Due to these changes the 2011-2012 Area Use Fee will be $10.00 per day.

With an optimistic attitude we hope this will give you the opportunity to experience some wonderful back country skiing, including the use of the Catamount Trail and access to the Rikert Ski Center at Breadloaf for some impeccably groomed trails.
