Public Transport

Blueberry Hill is not well served by Public Transport, though the school bus comes twice daily in term time.

Our nearest airport is Rutland, about a 40 minute drive. From Rutland there are three flights to and from Boston daily. The flight time is under an hour. For timings check Cape air. Round trip fare from $99.50.

Burlington airport has a more comprehensive service with flights to and from many parts of the country. This is about a 75 minute drive. Car rental is available at both locations.

The nearest train station is Rutland. This is served by The Ethan Allen Express, which originates in New York City. The journey takes about five and a half hours. Timings are dependant on season and should be checked with Amtrak.

Driving to Blueberry Hill

If you are using a GPS device input 1307 Goshen Ripton Road, Goshen, VT, 05733 as your destination address. Please note that OUR Goshen is in Addison County, if you end up at the other Goshen you will be late for dinner!

At the center of town take a right on Rte. 73 East by the Brandon Inn. Approximately 5 miles beyond Brandon look for the brown state information sign for Blueberry Hill and Ski Center. After that sign, turn left onto Forest Service Road #32 (also Goshen-Ripton Road). About a half a mile, turn left over the bridge onto Carlisle Hill Road (still Forest Service Road #32). Continue up Carlisle Hill and you will come to a four way intersection – continue going straight and it will turn into Goshen – Ripton Road(still Forest Services Road #32; avoid the “Blueberry Area” signs – a different area).  Blueberry Hill is one mile ahead.
