Goshen Gallop XXX
The Goshen Gallop is "the toughest 10 km run in New England," the course follows the scenic Blueberry Hill Inn cross-country ski trails and gravel roads of the town of Goshen, in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest and Moosalamoo National Recreation Area.
The 30th annual race will begin at 4:00 PM with a mass start on Saturday, July 19, 2008. The course will be well-marked; race maps are available at the Inn for pre-race runs. There will also be a 5K race for those who don't wish to run 10K.
Spectators are welcome. There will be a meal after the race for all. Please click here for rates and the chance to register on line.
Come and stay the weekend (Friday and Saturday) of July 18-20. Weekend rate of $260 per person for double occupancy and $300 for single occupancy. Your Inn stay entitles you to an Entry into the Race and if you are one of the first 100 entries you also get a Free T-Shirt. – But the best part is…. you don’t have to drive home until Sunday!
