Blueberry Hill cuisine reflects the season, every thing is freshly prepared in our own kitchen and where possible products are sourced locally. The four course evening meal is preceded by a variety of cheeses, which can be enjoyed with your own wine, while you get to meet your fellow guests. A different repast is served nightly, catering to individual dietary requests with advanced notice.

Dinner is included with all overnight stays and we welcome outside guests with prior reservations.

At breakfast time enjoy delicious fruits with a freshly baked pastry, followed by the main dish of the day. If you catch the season right you could be having pancakes filled with blueberries from our own garden!

Cream of Butternut Squash Recipe

For those chillier fall evenings

Ingredients

2 peeled squash

2 chopped onions

2 cloves garlic

Vegetable stock

Heavy cream

Method

Chop squash and sweat with onions & garlic. Add stock to cover squash, & boil till soft. Puree & pass through a sieve. Add heavy cream to taste and adjust seasoning. Serve with croutons & chopped chives Vary with the addition of celery root.
